Final Days for Shincha Reservations and Nodoka Matcha
This April has been an exciting one. Here in Kyoto, the sakura blossoms that opened early this month have fallen away, replaced by the full green leaves that now line the banks of the Kamogawa River. There have been days warm and cool, sunny and rainy, with many signs of the changing seasons. It's hard to believe we are almost to May, the month when we can finally share with the world our new harvest of tea.

Discounted Shincha Reservations until April 30th
This month we have been taking reservations at a discounted price for our new harvest of sencha green tea--Shincha--that will release in May. Online reservations are possible until April 30th (Japan Standard Time), after which the tea will be sold at the regular price. As those who are familiar with Shincha know, every year it is the most vibrant, lush, and energetic variety of sencha, and it is only released for a limited time. There are only a few days left to secure your taste of this year’s Shincha!

Nodoka Matcha on sale until April 30th
April 30th (Japan Standard Time) is also the last day our spring matcha variety, Nodoka, is on sale. Sold in a specially designed 20 gram box reminiscent of cherry blossoms, Nodoka is a splendid variety for beginner and experienced matcha fans alike. Its smooth, but rich flavor is accessible, and perfect for spring tea parties. Now is your last chance to try this matcha before next year.
